A cockapoo poses on the lawn in the autumnal sunshine

The sun was shining and the camera was packed as I set out for this pet photoshoot in Wolverhampton. I met this wonderful cockapoo, which had just celebrated his first birthday.

After he had bounded round the lawn chasing the fallen apples, he eventually rested under the birch trees. Using a maximum focal length of 200mm allowed me to achieve the shot without disturbing him.

I was invited to take photos of this adorable eleven week old collie puppy. I think he thought I was taking too long as he stifled a yawn. For now he plays, but soon he will be out in the fields using his natural ability to round up his masters sheep.
