Horse Photography in Shrewsbury

We were commissioned to photograph this horse earlier this month in between the owners busy eventing schedule.

The day of the photshoot arrived and it was wonderful, the sun was shining and we came away from the day with some wonderful shots, with different compostions.

After a 1 hour pet photoshoot with me, 13 year old Benny saved the best for last, posing on the top of Haughmond Hill, looking out over Shropshire, lit by a slight break in the clouds. Positioning the camera lower than the subject, I was able to look up and compose the shot from a slightly different angle.

A cute pose from this collie puppy captured in West Yorkshire, the natural light improves the composition, and the high quality lense with an aperture of 2.8 gives the bokeh background, alloing the subject to take centre stage.
