The apex predator...a wolf

On a small corner of this 100 acre wilderness, deep in the shropshire countryside we waited for the wolf to emerge from her den.

What should we expect, reverred by folklore, we didnt know?

Then she emerged, at first hesitant! She walked through the long grass towards us, and as she stopped guaging the situation I was able to capture this shot, the cloudy sky providing wonderful light.

The Greyhound: A Wonderful Pet

The greyhound is a well established breed of dog, its sleek frame allows it to reach speeds up to 40mph, coursing game or racing other greyhounds. 

Retired racing greyhounds make ideal pets in the suburban environment, sleeping up to 18 hours per day, seldomly barking, and welcoming everyone.

These characteristics made this greyhound a perfect subject to photograph.

We were pleased to be with the Wigleys in and around Grinshill photographing their two cocker spaniels, which were darting in and out of the undergrowth having a fab time. We got some wonderful photographs of the two dogs, with this one being a favourite against the meadow backdrop in the grounds of Grinshill church.

A 1 hour bronze pet photography session, at Haughmond Hill in Shropshire with Benny, who is an amazing 13 years old, but after a little bit of a warm up quite liked posing for my pet portraits. At the end of the pet photography session he naturally posed looking out over the Shropshire Hills, resulting in some wonderful pet photos for Nathan and Lorna to cherish.
